Round table coordination meeting on Mediation process

On this Monday 20th February 2017 at Lemigo Hotel Kigali, held one day round table coordination meeting on strengthening mediation process in Rwanda, organized by Ministry of Justice in partnership with Rwanda Initiative for Sustainable Development

(RISD). The meeting attended by various stakeholders of MINIJUST working closely in Access to Justice.

The main purpose of this round table coordination meeting was to provide an opportunity for various stakeholders to exchange views and share information and understanding the Rwanda Mediation (Kunga) process.

In her opening remarks, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General, Madam Kalihangabo Isabelle, emphasized that the organisation of a round table like this one is in line with our aim of bringing all actors supporting and promoting the Access to Justice program in general and the Abunzi in mediation process in particular, for the purpose of ensuring collaboration, coordination and harmonization of the work carried out by Minijust partners.
