TRAINING WORKSHOP OF CHIEF BUDGET MANAGERS (PS, SGs& DG) AND DIRECTORS OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION  
A half day training workshop was organized by the Ministry of Justice/ Attorney General’s Office on the role of the Ministry of Justice/Attorney General’s Office in Government transactions for Chief Budget Managers (PS, SGs & DG) and Directors of Finance and Administration. The workshop took place on 21st February 2012, at Lemigo Hotel.

Interactive public conferences between the JRLOS and the population 
During the period of November – December 2011, the Justice Reconciliation Law and Order Sector (JRLOS)institutions have completed a 5 public conferences Districts Huye, Kamonyi, Gakenke, Ngororero and Gatsibo. This program result from the recommendations of the cabinet which urged government’s institutions to approach the population and provide him with enough information about the service rendered.

A group of 30 youth from Global Youth Connect, USA and AJPRODHO-JIJUKIRWA, a local NGO, yesterday on 12th August 2011, visited the Ministry of Justice to learn about human rights in Rwanda. The visit aimed at facilitating the youth to understand how the promotion and protection of human rights can be used as an effective tool to help prevent conflict, minimize the potential for mass violence and eliminate the threat of Genocide.

On 18th July, A group of eight students coming from UK, USA, Japan and Australia met the Minister of Justice / Attorney General. The main objective of this visit was to learn about how the Ministry of Justice deals with issues concerning the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis and how the Country has managed to move forward in all aspects, just after 17 years.
