Minister Busingye officiated Religious Liberty Festival
Minister of Justice and Attorney General Busingye Johnston officiated the Religious Liberty Festival for Africa held at Amahoro Stadium on Saturday September 15, 2018.
The festival was organised by the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventists (SDA) church where over 30,000 people including over 500 clergy delegates from across Africa attended.
Minister Busingye called upon clerics to work for the good of the public and teach followers to work hard for their welfare. “Being of different denominations should not be a cause of divisionism. It should rather be reason for unity because you all teach love” he said.
He advised clerics to avoid practices such as starving followers in prayers and fasting to death”
