The Justice Sector adopts its 6-year communication strategy
The Justice Sector Working Group meeting held on Thursday 31st ay 2018 at Lemigo Hotel adopted the Sector communication Strategy for 6 years (2018/2019-2013/2014). The meeting was chaired by the Permanent Secretary and Solicitor General in the Ministry of Justice and co-chaired by the First Secretary in the Embassy of the Netherlands. The regular meeting brings together all Sector Permanent Secretaries, Secretary Generals, Civil Society organisations and Development Partners representatives.
The meeting was called by the Ministry of Justice with the aim of validating the forward-looking joint sector report for 2028/2019, assessing the achievements of 2017/2018 against set targets during planning process and to validate the Justice Sector Communication Strategy 2018/2019-2013/2014.
While opening the meeting the Permanent Secretary and Solicitor General Mrs. MUKESHIMANA Beata said that the joint communication strategy will help in streamlining services delivery in justice sector especially in strengthening legal awareness for laws mostly used on a daily basis.
The Justice Sector communication strategy 2018/2019-2023-2024 will focus on the joint activities aiming at increasing awareness and providing information regarding justice sector services. The participants adopted the strategy and requested quick implementation to help stakeholders get timely information.Topics
