The Justice Sector Leadership and Development Partners discussed on priorities of the Sector

On 24th May 2022 at Marriott Hotel, the Minister of Justice/Attorney General Dr Emmanuel Ugirashebuja and Maxwell Gomera, Co-Chairs of the JRLOs met the Justice Sector Leadership and Development Partners, at a high level stakeholders of the Justice Sector meeting.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss on priorities of the Sector, take stock of what have been achieved and exchange on potential new areas of collaboration, following the two years of the covid-19 pandemic without being able to physically meet.

Minister Ugirashebuja thanked development partners of Justice Sector for undertaking the journey together with justice sector institutions towards an effective and professional Justice Service."

"Your usual cooperation and collaboration make us feel accompanied on the journey towards excellence in justice service delivery" he said

“The Justice Sector institutions have managed to continue providing their daily services even in the time of COVID 19. “They are challenges that we have experienced but together with all stakeholders, solutions to address those challenges were proposed. Justice Sector institutions believe that the active participation and contribution of all JRLOS stakeholders will help to solve identified issues.” Minister emphasized
