The Mechanism President, Judge Agius Carmel official visit to the Republic of Rwanda
Kigali, 01 April 2019, Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Busingye Johnston received the President of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, Judge AGIUS CARMEL who is on official visit in Rwanda, from 01st to 07th April 2019. President Agius will held a serie of meetings with high level Government officials and participate in the Kwibuka25 International Conference and conclude his visit by attending the 25th Commemoration of the Genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi on Sunday 07th April 2019.
In his welcoming remarks, Honorable Minister Busingye Johnston highlighted that this visit is a signal that existing relations between the Government of Rwanda and the Mechanism will go to the next level.
