The Minister of Justice and immigration of Norway paid respects to Victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi
The Minister of Justice and immigration of Norway, Jøran Kallmyr, who was on official mission in Rwanda from Monday 20th to Tuesday 21st January 2020, was received by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Busingye Johnston on Tuesday 21st January 2020. They discussed Rwanda's judicial history, its achievements and challenges.
On the same day, Minister Jøran Kallmyr visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial and paid respects to Victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi. He left a message in the memorial guestbook.
“To hear the story about the Genocide against the Tutsi is horrible. But it also gives hope for a better future. When Rwanda can raise as it has done with prosperity, hope and peace for its people, there will be hope for all.” He wrote.
