The colloquium on the UN and the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda

On Wednesday 28th April 2021 Minister of Justice and Attorney General Busingye Johnston participated in a colloquium on the UN and the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.

While concluding the Colloquium, Minister Busingye explained that the aim of the event was to reflect on the United Nations’ failure to intervene and stop the Genocide against the #Tutsi and discuss simultaneously current & future mechanism needed to prevent genocide.

He calls on the United Nations to intervene in fighting the growing list of groups and individuals who continue to deny the facts around the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
